Pine Tree High School Culinary Arts students recently earned recognition at the ProStart Invitational Competition held in Waco, continuing a strong season of student achievement across Pine Tree ISD Career and Technical Education programs.
Competing against top culinary students from across the region, PTHS students showcased their creativity, technical skill, and ability to apply industry-level standards in a competitive setting.
Emma Bourn earned 2nd place in the Texas State Fair Remix Competition with her Lemon Ice Box Pie Cone, demonstrating both innovation and presentation excellence.
Benjamin Whiteside also represented PTHS well, earning 6th place in the Chipotle Bowl Competition with his unique take on the popular dish.
The ProStart Invitational provides students with opportunities to demonstrate real-world culinary skills while gaining experience in a high-level competitive environment aligned with the food service industry.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication of students to refining their craft.
