Pine Tree High School Student Career and Internship Expo

Charting Futures, Building Careers

About the Event

Purpose: We are dedicated to the success of our students, both during and after their high school career. Our mission is to empower students with the essential tools needed to thrive in society. The Career and Internship Expo is designed to (1) ignite students' exploration of diverse career and military paths, (2) provide valuable interview experience and feedback through mock interviews with esteemed business and community leaders, and (3) connect students with potential employers offering entry-level internship or job opportunities.

Target Audience: 11th-12th graders will primarily participate in the expo. Pine Tree ISD has over 500 total juniors and seniors enrolled. We aim to have every senior participate in one 15-minute mock interview.

Target Industries: We are recruiting businesses that are aligned to each of our CTE Program areas, but

Internships: Juniors may be interested in part-time employment or internships to participate in this summer and/or next school year. Businesses are encouraged to advertise these internship opportunities at the expo.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all participating businesses and community members

Business/Community Participation

Businesses or community members interested in participating in the Career and Internship Expo can participate in two ways:

  1. Reserve a booth in the Expo Floor (8 ft. table, 2 chairs provided)

  2. Volunteer as a interviewer in the mock interview room during a 2-hour window.

Participation is free, but space is limited. Businesses and community members interested in registration can click the button below to complete our form, or contact Jacob Lusk at jlusk@ptisd.org.
