School Nurses are strong, yet compassionate. They often walk with determination, yet have the gentlest touch. They are educators as they are always willing to teach and share their knowledge. They are good listeners and always seem to be there when you need them.

Pine Tree Junior High Robotics competed in the VEX Robotics World Championship last week with teams from all over the world. Both teams competed well. The Mechanics finished 122 out of 420 on the skills board and Tech Titans finished 150 out of 420 on the skills board. Way to go, Pirates!

Join Longview Police Department Resource Unit for its annual Explorer Academy at Spring Hill Jr High June 3-7. This academy will be 5 full days of hands on, police style training. There is no cost for cadets and lunch will be provided daily. To attend, the cadet must be 14 years of age or older, graduated the 8th grade, and under the age of 21.

This week students in Project Success have been competing for the Employer’s Choice Award. The finalists will compete on Tuesday, May 7th to see who wins the top prize!
