About the Carpentry Program
The Carpentry Program at Pine Tree High School is all about working with wood to create amazing things. In this program, students learn how to measure, cut, and assemble wood to build structures and furniture. They get hands-on experience using tools and equipment used by carpenters. This program is ideal for students who enjoy working with their hands and want to learn valuable skills for careers in construction or woodworking. When students finish the Carpentry Program, they have the knowledge and expertise to create and build with wood, making them well-prepared for a future in the carpentry industry.
PTHS Carpentry students have the opportunity to earn the NCCER Core certification, which is highly desired by companies looking to hire construction professionals.
